I got a text yesterday evening; it stated that I start orientation for my new job today! We’ll see how that goes. This whole process has been weird. It will be remote work, and there is no video conferencing in my position. I haven’t seen any of these people that I’ve spoken with, and that’s fine for me. I don’t have a problem with that. It’s just that all the steps that I am supposed to have followed, I have. And their side hasn’t been the same. I have had to contact customer service at almost every step. Now, that may be because I am a paranoid android, dear readers of the page, lololol, but damn, even if it’s half, it’s too much, pour moi.

Okay, maybe I need to rethink my attitude from the get-go. Sure, I’ve had to contact what, for all purposes, is a customer service-like chat service more than I’ve liked at least I have a job – I think. Hahaha I’m still not sure what is going on because they didn’t send an email inviting me to the orientation with a web address. I have no idea how I’m supposed to attend this orientation. I suppose if I haven’t heard anything by 8:30am, then I will contact Customer Service. Currently, it is 5:25am so they have some time to send me this supposed email. Le sigh…
